About Us

MUSX Corporation (MUSX) was incorporated as MUSIC Semiconductors Corporation on January 29, 1992 in the Philippines. MUSX was established to engage in the creation, design, development and manufacture of specialty semiconductor products and to market and sell the same to customers worldwide. However, in 1999, with the approval of its shareholders, the company became a holding company which lasted until 2003, when it reverted to its prior state, being a semiconductor operating company. On December 15, 2008, the Securities and Exchange Commission approved the change in MUSX's primary purpose from a semiconductor company to a holding company, and the change in its corporate name from Music Semiconductors Corporation to its MUSX.

MUSX's sole operating business remains the semiconductor business, organized under MUSIC Semiconductors Philippines Inc. (MSPI). However, initial steps in pursuit of other business opportunities were begun.

In 1992, MUSIC Corporation registered with the Board of Investments of the Philippines (BOI) as a preferred pioneer enterprise for research and development products and become entitled to income tax holiday for six years from December 1, 1992.

MUSIC Corporation also registered with the BOI as new export producer of tested semiconductor devices on a preferred non-pioneer status, entitled to income tax holiday for four (4) years from June 3, 1993. However, this registration was terminated on January 3, 1997, preceding MUSIC Corporation’s registration with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority as a non-pioneer firm under R.A. 7916, entitled to income tax holiday for four (4) years from January 16, 1997.

On June 22, 2011, the Securities and Exchange Commission approved the change of name from MUSX Corporation to Greenergy Holdings Incorporated.
